For Parents
The goal is to complement your baby, not compete with them. Soft, neutral tones work best:
- Whites, creams, beiges
- Soft pastels – blush pink, sage green, baby blue
- Grey or navy for variety
- Long-sleeved tops – they photograph beautifully
What to Avoid
- Bold patterns or stripes
- Bright colours or neon
- Logos or text on clothes
- Clothes that are too tight or uncomfortable
For Baby
Don't worry – I've got wraps, outfits, and props ready. Just dress baby in something simple and easy to remove. Soft onesies in white or cream work perfectly.
Tips
- Iron or steam your clothes – creases show in photos
- Avoid new clothes – babies can be sensitive to unfamiliar fabrics
- Consider matching siblings if bringing them
- Comfort matters – if you're uncomfortable, it'll show
