What you wear makes a big difference in family photos. Here's my guide.
Coordinate, Don't Match
Pick a palette rather than everyone in the same colour. Think: all blues, or soft pastels, or earthy tones.
What Works
- Soft neutrals – cream, white, beige
- Earth tones – olive, rust, brown
- Pastels – soft pink, blue, mint
- Layers – add depth with cardigans, scarves
What to Avoid
- Bold patterns – stripes, checks distract
- Logos and text
- Neon colours
- Jeans (can look too casual)
Kids
Comfort is key. Let them wear something they feel good in. Add a accessory – a bow, hat, or colourful socks – to add personality.
